Are my WebP files uploaded to a server?

No. Decoding, conversion, and ZIP packaging all happen locally in your browser. Your files are never transmitted anywhere.

Does the PNG keep transparency?

Yes. When the WebP source contains transparent pixels, the converted PNG preserves the alpha channel. The report shows the real output so you can verify it.

Why is the PNG larger than my WebP?

PNG is lossless and keeps every pixel exact, while WebP usually applies stronger compression. That's normal — PNG trades file size for universal compatibility and quality.

Can I convert many files at once?

Can I convert WebP to JPG instead of PNG?

Yes. Switch the output format to JPG and pick a quality level. JPG files are smaller and work everywhere, but they can't store transparency — transparent areas are filled with white.

What about animated WebP files?
